Eleven federal agencies participate including DOD, DOE, NIH, NSF, NASA, EPA, DOT, USDA, DHS, and others. Phase I awards fund feasibility research (up to $275,000 for 6–12 months). Phase II awards fund full R&D development (up to $2,000,000). Each agency opens its own solicitation window on a rotating schedule throughout the year.
